Fruit and Vegetables for the Summer
Mother Nature has not been kind to us this year. The wind, birds, and insects have decreased our production of peaches. The hot weather affected the tomatoes. We planted three long rows of tomatoes but, due to the weather, it has been difficult to keep up with the demand for good tomatoes. Please check with us from time to time. We do have 1015 onions. We will have future crops of watermelons, cantaloupe, okra and black-eyed peas during the summer. We will start our fall garden planting within a couple of weeks. If you have a wish list of vegetables for the fall, please email it to us as soon as possible.
We have located some peaches in East Texas that we can bring in and sell. They would run $35 to $40 for a half-bushel, depending on freight. Please call 817-894-1520 or 254-835-4666 or email us very soon if you would be interested in these.
