Thanksgiving on the Oleo Farm

Thanksgiving is a very special time at the Oleo Farm. Our children have always wanted to be home on Thanksgiving and this year was no exception. We continued the tradition with cornbread dressing, baked turkey, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, homemade yeast rolls, gravy, fruit salad, cranberries, pumpkin roll, and everyone's favorite pie (three different kinds!). Thanksgiving is our special time to renew relationships, share new ideas with each other, and just have a good time. The grandchildren love the open space that gives them room to ride the toy jeep, swing, fish and ride the tractors with PaPa.

With November coming to a close and the end of the year approaching, it will soon be time to start preparing for the spring. Dream about the fruit and vegetables you would like for us to grow in 2008 and let us hear from you. We wish you all a happy Holiday Season.

Thanks to all who have visited our farm. Please pass this website on to your friends.
